Z-Lipo (Cryolipolysis)
Cryolipolysis™ has been successfully used to reduce fat deposits on thighs, hips, belly, buttocks, love handles, and men‘s chests. The targeted removal of energy by means of a cold treatment causes the apoptosis of the fat cells. This ultimately leads to their destruction. The complete breakdown and removal of fat cells the natural way through the lymphatic system takes about 10–12 weeks. Is the treatment painful?
Cryolipolysis™ is a virtually painfree process. There may be a slight feeling of pain in the first few minutes of the treatment as you begin to feel the suction of the applicators. However, this is completely harmless and only lasts a few minutes.
What are the potential side effects?
Cryolipolysis™ has virtually no side effects. There may be some redness or slight tenderness of the treated area in the days following treatment. Some patients report a feeling that resembles normal muscle soreness.
How many applications are necessary?
Usually depending on the application area, the size and nature of the treatment area one cryolipolysis™ is enough.
